About DAVID
DAVID is coaching software operated by David Doswell. It helps coaches manage client relationships, prescribe training, and communicate with clients. These Terms govern use of the application. Your training agreement with your coach is separate from these Terms.
Accounts and responsibilities
Use your own account and provide accurate identity, contact, and training information. Keep access to your phone and verification codes secure. Do not impersonate another person, share private coaching records without permission, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your coaching relationship
Your assigned coach is responsible for the training they prescribe and the services they agree to provide. Clients submit training information and feedback; coaches approve prescription changes. DAVID does not guarantee a coach's availability, qualifications, or results. You can end your relationship with a coach in the app and use a new coach's enrollment code. Ending a relationship does not erase its historical records or automatically resolve any separate agreement with that coach.
Coach membership
Coaches pay for access to DAVID through an Apple auto-renewable subscription. The price, billing period, and any eligible offer are shown before purchase. Apple handles billing and subscription management under its applicable terms. Manage or cancel renewal through your Apple subscription settings; deleting DAVID or your DAVID account does not cancel the Apple subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to applicable rights. Paid access generally continues through the verified paid period. If membership expires or is revoked, coaching tools are restricted while membership recovery remains available. A lapse does not itself delete client or training records.
Clients and coaching payments
Clients do not pay a DAVID platform membership. DAVID currently does not collect client payments for coaching or pay coaches on clients' behalf. These Terms do not set the price, payment schedule, cancellation policy, or refund terms of any separate coaching arrangement.
Training and safety
Exercise involves risk. Give your coach accurate information about pain, symptoms, injuries, medication changes, and relevant restrictions. Stop activity when it is unsafe and seek appropriate professional assistance. DAVID is not a medical service, does not diagnose or treat conditions, and is not monitored for emergencies. Contact local emergency services for an emergency. Training consent and any clearance requirements are separate from these Terms. No training outcome is guaranteed.
Content and permitted use
You retain your rights in information and content you submit. You permit DAVID and its service providers to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service, share it within your authorized coaching relationship, and meet applicable obligations. Submit only material you have permission to use. DAVID's software, branding, and instructional materials remain the property of their respective owners. Do not redistribute protected materials without permission or use the service for unlawful, abusive, or infringing activity.
Availability and account closure
DAVID may experience interruptions, delayed synchronization, or maintenance. Cached information may not reflect the latest server state until synchronization completes. Access may be limited to protect users, respond to misuse, or comply with law. You can request account deletion through the app's account controls. Some historical, legal, security, and transaction records may remain as described in Privacy. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and contact
We may revise these Terms and will identify the version and update date. Where required, we will provide notice or request acceptance of material changes.
